1. Summary

MedicineTracker is a personal and family health organizer. Core tracking does not require an app account. Records are stored on your device by default. We do not operate a developer-hosted health-record server, use advertising or tracking SDKs, or sell health records. You control optional permissions and whether to export or share records.


2. Information you enter

The app can store family names, dates of birth, relationships, profile photos, medical conditions, allergies, medication schedules and adherence, doctor visits, appointment messages and notes, reports and attachments, vaccinations, symptoms, body measurements, meals, water intake, exercise, personal-care activities, and baby or pregnancy records. You choose which features to use and which details to enter. These records can contain sensitive information.


3. Appointment messages and screenshots

The app cannot read your SMS or WhatsApp inbox. Appointment import processes only text you deliberately paste or a screenshot you select. Screenshot text recognition and appointment extraction run on the device. No SMS-access permission is requested, and this import does not require access to the entire photo library.


You must review the suggested person, doctor, date and time before using the details. Applying details fills the form; saving creates the doctor visit. Clinic, queue, address, room, arrival instructions, and additional details are stored in visit notes when supplied. The original message is added to notes only when you select that option. Imported visit details remain until you edit or delete the record.


4. Apple Health

If you grant permission, the app reads supported Apple Health activity and measurement data to display local health summaries. You may decline or revoke access in iOS Settings. Previously saved or cached local values are not necessarily removed by revoking permission; delete local records separately where available. The app does not use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing.


5. Optional permissions

Camera and photo access let you attach images or reports. Contacts access supports contact-related features you choose. Face ID or Touch ID can protect access to the app; biometric templates are handled by the operating system, not supplied to the developer. Notification and, on supported systems, alarm permissions support reminders. Declining optional permissions does not prevent core manual tracking. Permission availability and controls depend on iOS version and the feature used.


6. Exports, sharing, and device backups

When you choose to export or share a report, family package, or other file, the selected information is supplied to the destination you choose through the system share sheet. A recipient or another app may keep a copy. Review the contents before sharing sensitive information.


For this release, the app does not provide direct iCloud upload of personal health records. Device backups, Files destinations, and storage chosen through other apps are controlled by your Apple account, device settings, and those services. Exported files and copies outside the app are not deleted merely by deleting a local record or uninstalling the app. Manage those copies through the destination or service where you stored them.


7. Purchases and support

Apple handles in-app purchases and purchase verification through StoreKit where premium features are used. Apple applies its own policies to transactions. If you contact support, we receive the contact details and information you choose to send. Avoid sending medical records or other sensitive information unless necessary for your request.


8. Security and retention

The app uses Apple storage and security facilities and offers an optional biometric lock. Encryption is used for supported operations; this is not a claim that every field or exported file has separate app-level encryption. No system can guarantee absolute security. Secure your device and review the protection offered by destinations you use for exported files.


Records remain locally until you delete them or remove the app's local data. Copies in backups, exports, recipient devices, or support correspondence have separate retention and deletion controls. We cannot delete copies held by services or recipients you select.


9. Children and family information

Caregivers may create records for children and other family members. The app is intended for adult use or adult supervision. Obtain appropriate authorization before entering or sharing another person's information. There is no child-registration or direct child-account feature.


10. Your controls

You can decline optional permissions, revoke permissions in iOS Settings, edit or delete local records where supported, choose what to export, and stop using the app. Core tracking does not require sharing health information with the developer. This policy does not substitute for applicable legal rights or the policies of services you independently choose.


11. Wellness and medical limitations

MedicineTracker is an organizer and self-tracking tool, not a diagnostic or treatment service. Nutrition values, photo estimates, diet examples, body-mass indicators, and exercise estimates may be approximate. Review entries and estimates yourself. Consult a qualified clinician, pharmacist, or dietitian for medical, medication, and dietary decisions. For an emergency, contact local emergency services.


12. Policy changes and contact

We update this policy when relevant app practices change. Check the date and the hosted policy for the current version.
